π Remote Education Offer
St George’s CE Primary School
At St George’s, we are committed to ensuring children can continue to learn, feel connected and stay safe if they cannot attend school. Our offer builds on our Digital Strategy 2025–2028, using Google Classroom, Chromebooks, ClassDojo and high-quality online learning tools.
Remote education may be offered when:
A child is recovering from illness but is well enough to complete work.
A child is at home following public-health advice.
A wider situation requires a class or year group to stay at home.
School agrees remote learning is appropriate in exceptional circumstances.
Remote learning is not provided for holidays or unauthorised absence.

Children should:
Try their best with each task
Upload or photograph their work when possible
Ask for help through Google Classroom or Dojo if they are unsure
Parents are not expected to deliver full lessons — just to help children access learning safely.
Our approach reflects our vision of “Living life in all its fullness” (John 10:10) by ensuring:
Every child can continue learning
Wellbeing is prioritised
No pupil is disadvantaged
Technology enhances connection, inclusion and opportunity
It also aligns directly with our Digital Strategy 2025–2028, ensuring purposeful, high-quality use of technology across school.
