Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a national initiative that helps schools support children who may have experienced domestic abuse. When the police attend an incident of domestic violence where a child is present or linked to the household, they confidentially inform the child’s school before the next school day. This early sharing of information allows trained staff to provide timely care, understanding, and support to the child, helping them feel safe and ensuring their wellbeing is prioritised.
